Back in the day I did an image comparison post on my old blog, and while sometimes I love IMG didn’t win out all the time I still love it.
They have a ton of options, and cover 90% of the stuff I need to do with images while writing blog posts.
As you can see from the screenshot below being able to resize, and compress. While you think it’s small. Being able to shrink images for netlify saves of bandwidth, and build times.
I will normally resize the image first then do the compression.
I still need to do some page load comparisons from externally loaded pictures vs internally loaded pictures.
